curtain-raiser
for the European
tour event,
The Dubai Desert
Classic. The
Challenge Match
includes six
of the world's
top golf stars
competing in
the Desert Classic
and is a draw
for three teams
of two players.
The nine-hole
greensomes match
takes place
in February
/ March each
year and has
included the
following world-renowned
players: Justin
Leonard, Mark
O'Meara, Colin
Montgomerie,
Lee Westwood,
Paul Lawrie,
José
Maria Olazabal,
Seve Ballesteros,
Nick Faldo,
Greg Norman,
Ian Woosnam
and Ernie Els.
